The 1751 halfpenny was struck in copper by the Royal Mint. The obverse side of the coin features the older laureate and cuirassed portrait of King George II facing left, with legend around. The reverse depicts the seated figure of Britannia facing left, trident in left hand, olive branch in right, shield with Union flag resting on left, with legend around, and date in exergue.
